The area is well known for its vibrant cafes, restaurants, and bars. Crouch End sees hundreds of creative events such as live music and craft fairs. Its call to fame is its setting for “Shaun of the Dead”, as its writer and star, Simon Pegg, lived in the area. It also carries the name of a parallel dimension in a Stephen King short story.
